Field Hunts | Canadian Goose & Duck Trips
Field hunting geese has taken the waterfowling world by storm. Years ago, it was a fool’s errand; everyone knew you killed geese on the water! Over the years though, groups of hunters started migrating to the fields. As the decoys, blinds, and other equipment got better, so did the hunts. Soon, this became the standard. We were lucky enough, as young hunters, to join the sport just as the field hunting started getting good. We grew up with it. We learned to live for it. When we’re not doing it, something seems to be missing from our days. We used to go out with a dozen decoys and no blinds. The hunting was tough and we never shot all that many birds. Now we hunt the Wisconsin fields like it was meant to be done – CNH has a 16ft enclosed trailer loaded with Tanglefree full body decoys, socks, and flags. We also have new Tanglefree layout blinds for all clients joining us on hunts. The only way to be successful in field hunting is to scout, and we scout every day! This is where CNH got its start in waterfowling. Even though we’ve expanded our styles of hunting, this is still our go to, our bread and butter, our favorite. When we sit a whole flock of Canadian Geese in your lap, and you get to pick and choose which one gets the trigger, it will be your favorite too!
